Masia Santa Oliva is a private 18th-century masia in the Penedès countryside, 55 minutes from Barcelona. It sleeps up to 10 people across 5 bedrooms — with dedicated workstations, a conference sound system, fast fibre broadband and a saltwater pool waiting at the end of every working day.
Whether you're a remote team running a week-long offsite, a group of freelancers looking for a change of scenery, or a startup that needs to actually finish something together — this is the kind of place where real work gets done and people don't want to leave.
The workspace
Dedicated workstations
Built-in workstations in the library — monitors, keyboards and ergonomic seating. Bring your laptop and plug straight in.
Fibre broadband
Fast, reliable WiFi throughout the house and on the covered terrace. Video calls, large file transfers, no dropouts.
Conference sound system
Professional-grade speaker system for presentations, workshops, team calls or just setting the mood at the end of the day.
The big table
The kitchen's large farmhouse table seats 10 — doubles as a war room, workshop space or standing-up sprint planning session.
Library & reading room
A quiet separate room with full bookshelves and a sofa nook — ideal for focus work, 1:1s or just thinking.
Private courtyard
The inner courtyard is fully enclosed and locked — secure storage for bikes, equipment or anything you don't want to leave in a car.
After hours
Once the laptops close, Masia Santa Oliva shifts gear. A saltwater pool, a covered terrace with a long dining table, a wood-fired BBQ and 15 acres of Penedès countryside. The Costa Daurada beaches are 20 minutes away. Barcelona is an hour.

Common questions
What's the WiFi like?
Fibre broadband with a router in the main work room. We've had groups on simultaneous video calls without issues. Speed test results available on request.
Can you host a workshop or presentation?
Yes. The conference speaker system handles room-filling audio for presentations, workshops or team calls. The library and the main dining room both work as meeting spaces for the full group.
Is there somewhere to lock up bikes?
The inner courtyard is fully enclosed with a lockable gate — it's not a dedicated bike room but provides secure, covered storage.
What's the minimum stay?
We typically ask for a 3-night minimum for workation groups, and 7 nights for larger retreats. Get in touch to discuss your dates.
Is Barcelona easy to get to?
55 minutes by car to the centre, or 50 minutes by train from El Vendrell station (10 min drive from the house). Good for a day trip or meeting in the city mid-week.
Plan your offsite
Workation stays are available year-round. Spring and autumn are the sweet spot — warm enough for outdoor work, cool enough to actually concentrate.
